Updates at Facebook not to affect AD performance

Facebook started rolling out their redesign of the news feed. Even though this was announced a year ago, changes are more subtle than the users were expecting. The new design emphasises the images and there are also new fonts.

A Facebook representative said: “We want to be clear that this update does not affect ad specs, ads performance or optimization,”.

However, the social network doesn’t stop here. On Monday, Facebook announced a new design for the business pages as well.

Some of the items have been moved. The “Invite Frieds” area is now on the right side of the screen, as well as a new metrics section. Facebook is also launching “Pages to Watch”, where admins can create lists of similar pages (or competitors) to compare metrics. This new design is expected to roll out this week.
