Adobe celebrates the rise of the new creative with a Creative Jam. The best designers in the UK will gather in London on March 27th to compete against each other. The contestants will be given a particular theme and two hours during the ‘Create Now – New Creative Meet Up’ to create an original piece (graphic or motion, depending on the specialisation).
There will be a winner for both disciplines and each one of them will receive a membership to Adobe Creative Cloud. The most interesting thing about this is that the jammers will be judged by… the jammers; the contestants will be giving points to each other.
This is a great opportunity for web designers everywhere as the competition will be streamed live. You can watch live how designers use Adobe Creative Cloud and other tools to respond to a real brief. You can also discuss with other designers around the world on Twitter, using the #CreateNow hashtag.
There are a lot of people who don’t fully understand our line of work and what to expect when they hire a web designer and this is a great opportunity for them to learn as well!
